Dr. Dhinakarasamy Inbakandan, Ph.D.


Dr. D. Inbakandan, started his career as researcher in National Institute of Ocean Technology, India (1998-2006) and working as Scientist – E / Associate Professor, Sathyabama University, India (2007 to till date). He completed his under graduation in Zoology and post graduation in Aquaculture. His doctoral studies are from CAS Marine biology of Annamalai University. He is interested in Marine biotechnology and Aquaculture research and mainly concentrating on Marine biofouling and control studies. He is the Executive Member of Technology Business Incubator, Sathyabama University, India. He has 17 international and national papers on his credit with a patent. He has received Young Scientist award from DST (SERB). He is the Doctoral Committee Reviewer (Life science), Sathyabama University (2013 to till date) and Member of Board of studies – PSG Arts & Science college, Coimbatore. He is the Principal Investigator for DAE, DST & MOES funded projects (3) and Co-Investigator for MOES, BRNS & DBT funded projects.
